Owned but unexplored areas can often scare us. Our attempts to enter these areas we fear may come with increasing feelings of discomfort. We can realize that it is time to enter the field with many symptoms characterized by disruption of sleep patterns, differences in nutrition, impasses in relationships and more. In a therapeutic relationship established in a comfortable and unconditional way, we have the opportunity to navigate those maps more freely. In the sessions, I try to provide clients with new insights through new experiences in a safe environment, with the above-mentioned training and experiences.
Hello, I am Clinical Psychologist Burcu Göktaş. First of all, I would like to say that if you are on this platform, you understand the importance of doing something for yourself and making space for yourself. I would like to be able to accompany you as you get to know this field, discover your own resources, and on your journey with yourself. In addition to providing therapy in my mother tongue, I also offer therapy in English. If I talk about my own perspective; I do not prefer to stick to a single school in therapy, I have an eclectic point of view. I have a body-oriented clinical psychology background and I am aware that the interaction between mind and body forms the basis of many issues in our lives. Sometimes, even if we can't measure and weigh the effects of certain feelings or events, the "body" can signal this, and the body keeps a record of these signals. Therefore, body-focused work has an undeniable role in making the individual feel a wholeness and understand himself better. In fact, therapy is like a car journey that the individual takes within himself; "We are all on a road in life, we need to feel that we are in control so that we can enjoy and feel comfortable on this road.." And the therapy process aims to give the individual dominance on this road.

Access to a therapist was not easy for me due to my location. This application was a great convenience for me. Also, the ability to receive therapy at the environment I want, eliminates the possibility of breaking the therapy process in the middle, because it is already difficult for me to gather myself and go to therapy at times. Terappin was a good choice for me in this regard. Many thanks to Terappin.
